WELCOME to the CHOC Talk, the message forums of the CHOC Board (the Christian Homeschool Online Community Board for westside, and general, Portland, OR). These forums act as "classified ads" and message boards for Christian homeschoolers, and businesses and organizations that serve homeschoolers, to connect with each other to share specific details and information, including time-sensitive events, useful to the homeschool community. "The Coffee House", a unique poetry course for ages 11-13. Come study, discuss, and write poetry during this eight-week unit! Finish the course with our special "coffee house", complete with recitations, snacks, and presentations of beautiful poetry anthologies.          *four spots still available! •"Discovering Oregon", a four-week unit study on our state. Appropriate for grades 2-5, this course will focus on state resources, landmarks and fun facts.
