 New aviator
Not a lot of traffic but figured someone must check here from time to time.
I am not new to rc, been running a t maxx nitro truck for a while. Well I got bit by the helicopter bug and am getting a blade 400 to fly. I notice from the pics most of you are into planes though I saw 1 heli. I'm hoping to join the ama and the club in the spring and get some flight time with some experienced folks. Until then I'll log some hours on the simulator.

Hey Digr,
Welcome to the Altoona R/C Club Website! And you're right, these boards don't see a lot of activity/posts. I wish they did, but sometimes you have to say, "C'est la vie".
There is nothing like a flight simulator to get good practice for flying. Follow it up with a well constructed model and a good flight instructor on a buddy cord and you have a combination that can't be beat.
