Piper Cubs for Sale in Lock Haven
Hi Everyone,
I noticed an R/C ad in the January 8 edition of the "Bargain Sheet" - similar to the "Traders Guide" newspaper.
I called up the gentleman and he is from Lock Haven. I told him that I would pass along the information to other R/C members.
He was selling a P-51 and Piper Cubs. The P-51 is sold, but two of the Cubs are still available. The two Piper Cubs come complete with radio gear and engines. The wingspan's are 74" and 80". He has had them hanging up in his den and has now decided to sell them. His son and him used to fly. His son has moved to Alabama.
He is asking $500 and $700 (might be able to negotiate if buying both). He used to display them with the full scale airplanes during "Sentimental Journey" (Piper Airport's full scale Fly In). He said they're pretty much new, excellent quality. I asked some details, but he didn't have a lot of specific details without looking into it.
