Mainstream media
I wonder at how much responsibility the mainstream media will ever take for spreading the truth about difficult situations. Don't you think it's up to alternative media to take up the fight? Jude

In Palestine, alternative media is not well established; Palestinian people get their information from the daily newspapers and TV stations, mainly al Jazeera TV.
This issue is affecting every Palestinian directly, and that’s why it should be well-discussed in the mainstream media, it’s the right of each Palestinian to know what’ going on, so not to repeat the same mistakes over and over.
When the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) accepted as a starting point that Israel had a right to exist in peace and security, the trouble with this was that it also meant, by extension, an acceptance that the way Israel came into being was legitimate.
As the latest troubles have shown, ordinary Palestinians are not prepared to follow their leaders in this act. When the history and the future of the Palestinians are in question, mainstream media should raise the right question before it’s too late.
