Wow this is nuts! ....I'm In!!!!
Lebanon Valley Speedway is having their "Eve of Destruction" races on Tuesday night, June 24th.
Listen to the races they are having:
1. School bus racing!
2. Donut spare tire race
3. Mailman race
4. Pure Stocks
5. Trailer race!
5. 4 cylinder race
6. Demo derby
7. Rollover contest
8. Green Mamba jet car melts down a school bus and more!
Full details and entry rules HERE.
If I can put together four donut spares of the same size for my Paseo, I will enter the "Donut" races!
This will be something to see!

Hey Mikey.
You will definately love this racing event. The good Part for you about having such a well prepared car is that you can enter more than one event with the same car. I have seen many racers compete in every event that they could with their 4 cyl car.

Re: Wow this is nuts! ....I'm In!!!!
That's a good point Matt. I am missing proper side bars to be able to run in the regular 4 cyl. race though. Now they want an extra roof bar [like we require in A.M.E.C.] too. The car's not competitive in the twin cam class though, so I'm not going to bother to add the extra tubing.
But I am going to pre-register for the donut race. Might be pretty similar to ice racing.
It pays $300 to win and they'll throw in an extra $100 and a free pit pass if you pre-register.

Mike, just bear in mind they call this the "Eve of Destruction" for a reason.
Maybe I will hit this show myself.

Re: Wow this is nuts! ....I'm In!!!!
I hear you Jeffy. Going to try to be careful as usual.
I will fax in my entry tomorrow morning. I called the track and did not realize that the entry fee for all [except the 4 cyl. class which is only $25] races is FREE!
I also now realize that the donut race is only four laps. I might upgrade my car to run the 4 cyl. race after all. I hate to add the weight at this point because from a competitive standpoint, the car can't really afford it as it is.
The guy on the phone at L.V. said to tell my friends and get as many people as possible.
What do you you guys say?
Will I be the only guy in the entire club that will run?

OK so it looks like it'll be just me again.
The rules for the donut class state that all four space savers have to be the same size. I've rounded up three 135/70D15's from both of my 4WD sentra wagons and the SE-R. I'm going to head out to a local junkyard now and get the fourth.
The weather forecast for tomorrow night doesn't look too promising but I will be ready nonetheless.

Thanks Eric,
I was away in Michigan for four days so no cage upgrades got done. It'll be just the donut race tomorrow night. Got 'em all pumped up to 50 lbs.
