Daft Expressions That People Come Out With...
Here's one that I admire...
Someone does you a favour... and when you say thanks, they say:
"It was the least I could do"
Now that shows a pretty active person to me... because the 'least' that I can do is 's*d all' - so this is all good stuff...
And to carry on... if you thank someone and they say:
"Think nothing of it"
Then say "Okay then" and never refer to or acknowledge the favour ever again - and se how hurt they look!
Such a strange request!
