Re: v2

Someone sent me an e-mail, which made me think I should explain some of the thoughts going into the design ...

Not sure when I will get around to actually coding v2.0, but if you dig around on the URL ( http://www.prestonm.com/military/B17QotS/B17QotS.shtml ) , you will find I have been working on the design. In fact, I uploaded an updated design about two weeks ago. It's nearly complete, but coding is a whole different story. I typically like to do backend/admin stuff first, so I don't have to hand SQL things while I am developing the public/front end. My operating concept, though, is that anybody with a web server, PHP and mySQL should be able to load the game and run it, either for their own enjoyment, or opening it up to the public at large. (Because I don't want the bandwidth cost of hosting it for the world to play. ;-)
