Bomber Still Available After Crash

I was on my 11th mission with the Creaking Door (Lancaster WF183 based at Warley Fen) when we were jumped by fighters and had to bail out after we ran out of gas.

The crew members all show up correctly as POW but the bomber still shows up as Flight Status after clicking the update button on the Bomber Maintenance tab.

Exiting and restarting the emulator did correct the status to shot down.

Why would the staus not be updated by the Update button and only after exiting and restarting?

When you clicked the update, did it create another bomber of the same name?

I will have to check it when I get home. I did see that it was still Flight status until I exited the program and restarted. Then the status changed to crashed

When I hit update it did not create another bomber with the same name.

Not sure off hand what is wrong, as my computer crashed, but was not miraculously resurrected like your bomber. :-)

(I am typing this from work.)

Best I can tell you offhand, is to 1) Uninstall the emulator. Don't retain the datafile, as it may have been corrupted. 2) Do a complete re-install.
