Assign crew

I can only assign eight crew members but in the Help section there are ten crew members!!!
Is there a fault in my version of the emulator?

Re: Assign crew

What make and model of bomber is it? They all have different numbers and positions for crew.

Also, the airmen must be of the appropriate position for the bomber you are attempting to assign them to.

Re: Assign crew

I constructed my own new B-17 named Mermaid, model B-17 C (chosen by emulator) and wanted to assign some crew members.
I can only name pilot, co-pilot, bombardier, engineer, radio-operator, tunnel and two waist gunners.
I get the message "One or more crew positions are unmanned. The Bomber will not be able to fly a mission until all positions are manned."
All other positions are not to shown.

Re: Assign crew

Create the airmen. Make sure the airmen have the approprate positions. Go to the bomber. Assign the airmen to bomber in the positions. That should work. B-17 C only has eight airmen. (That's why they got shot down so much ...)
