Installation problem
Hello,
I'm using XP but without sp2 (to many pbs with it).
As I run set up.exe I have a message that my systems files are not up to date, so It asks me to reboot, but after rebooting, it's the same.
Could you give me the list of .dll files I have to update so that I could do it by hand ?
Thanks.

Re: Installation problem
No clue.
Try to ignore those msgs, it should install fine anyway.
Alternately, you could unzip the .cab file using any unzip utility and see what you can do with the results. But I have never tried that. No guarantees that will work ...

Re: Installation problem
Hello, just new here.
I encountered the same problems, unpacking the cab-file did help though. Put all the Jpegs you find in a folder called "Image" so that you can at least start the emulator.
My question is, is there a list with wich files go into wich folder, maybe that will do the trick for me. For example i would like to know where the great-escape mp3 goes ^__^.

Re: Installation problem
Did you try installing by ignoring the messages? I've had to that myself, even on the devlopment machine. (Which has since toasted its motherboard.) I hate Windows. Even worse is the VB dev environment which insists on piling in a whole bunch of worthless crap -- the source of the stupid messages -- when compiling in the data access components. All that junk which the emulator does not even use, raises the file size from 4 to 13 megs! (Not to mention causes the stupid messages.)
So ...
1) Try installing by ignoring the messages.
2) Only if that does not work, do the .cab thing.
If you do the .cab thing, there out to be some sort of install file -- I believe it is SETUP.LST -- which lists the directories each file should be installed in. Basically,
images should be in /image
audio files should be in /sound
html files should be in /doc
