Weird!!

I had a plane in the 8th AAF mission (B17F) where I started with 4 crewmembers KIA. In zone 2 before any EA attacked. Also, only my nose gun would fire, even with five AC attacking. My top turret and Engineer were both showing they were OK, but he never fired at anyone. Sad to say I lost the A/C, it blew up over the target. Good news, It wasn't a campaign A/C. Any help!?

Re: Weird!!

I've seen stuff like that happen on occassion. I think pointers get mixed up and point to the wrong data structures that I have stored in memory. (For instance, the crew structure, which is accessed both when you hit the crew tab and when you are on a mission.) However, I have not had that problem when playing "one mission at a time", such as for teh online campaigns. Only when playing a lot of missions and hitting the crew tab a bunch of times without shutting down.

Re: Weird!!

last night I looked at the beginning of the bug reports to see if anyone else had this issue, and found "ghost ships" thread. This sounds like what I had. The AC in question already was shot down, if I remember right, and it just needed one new crew Monday to get back on active duty.
