When cruising by your place today, not only did I see the silver Audi but I also saw you and the lovely Mrs Knife putting something in the trunk of said car. (I instructed my chauffeur to stop but we just went cruising on by....why can't we stop?...we'll be late....late for what? ....lunch....????)

Anyway, what were you were putting in the trunk?...a dead body?...the sacrifice to the snow goddess?

Well I don't know what you think you saw and I can't quite recall everything we "disposed of" that weekend but you can be assured the mother-in-law won't be sipping the new "Hammer'n'Nails" drink this summer. emoticon

As to the drink concept ... sounds good. Cinnamon sticks as "nails" would go with ... some rum mebbe ? Some dark, some 151 (I got to use some up) and something else .... nut

EDIT: Mrs Knife adds in that something orange (triple sec, curacao, Gran Marnier) would go well with cinnamon.

posticon Hammer & Nails

I searched some online drink recipes sites for such a drink and we're in luck ... it doesn't seem to exist ... yet. A Velvet Hammer does but it seems more velvet and not so much hammer. FWIW I did find these for nails. Haven't found them outside of the UK ... yet.

These lemon flavored nails are cool. How about some Grey Goose on the rocks with just a few drops of lemon juice and some of those lemon flavored nails?
