Re: Snake Bite

Wow, your snake is a lot more poisonous than I'm used to!
Needs a couple of dribbles of Rose's - on the rocks, shake it up!

posticon Sun over the Yard Arm?

Wow uneValkyrie....I had to look that one up. Here' what I found....
": I am try to find out the meaning of
: "Is the sun over the yard arm"

That's yardarm, not yard arm.

Yardarms are the timbers from which sails were hung on big sailing ships. They were a convenient reference point to tell time at sea.

I've heard this used to mean, "Is it late enough that we can take lunch?" I've also heard it used in restaurants meaning, "Do you think it's late enough in the day we can order drinks without raising any eyebrows?"

Sure it's time....why not. A black and tan for the lady from the neck. Comin' right up....

uneValkrie...another snake bite? Watch out for OnTheNeck as she can become obstreperous.

It's funny now that there are ads specifically chosen for the content that Google has googled on the site we have lots of ads for Margarites and Snakes! =D

I'll be on the look-out for any of those raised eyebrows! :escher:

I'll stick to tonic and lime-no alcohol for next week or so. I'll wait until the Irish High Holiday for the Guinness.
Then it time to listen to the Rovers.

That High Irish Holiday is sneaking up on us. We'll have to hold an open house of course! Here's that tonic and lime!

I read "osteoporosis" which made little sense even after finishing that nice Snake Bite you poured me --

So then I realized you said "noisily and stubbornly defiant", or possibly "aggressively boisterous"

in any case I like her avitar

Still taking requests: How about "The Orange and The Green"?

An old Scottish joke: A fellow in a kilt passes out in front of a bar. Two girls pass by giggling. Girl 1: "What do you think they wear under there?" Girl 2: "Why don't you check?" Girl 1 takes a peek under the kilt to see ... well, not underwear. To make up for the free peepshow, the girl takes a blue ribbon out of her hair and ties it around, ahem, the Scotsman. When he wakes up in the morning, he lifts his kilt to pee and is shocked to see the ribbon. He scratches his head for a moment, looks down and says, "I don't know where ya' been laddy, but I see you won first prize."
