I'm still getting used to this board! I thought you guys had all gone away but then I noticed the conversation had gone on to page "8"! I was still reloading page "7".

What's the "Karma" number mean? I was "+1" a little while ago but now I'm "+2". Is that good?

I scroll back up and click on the BELKNAP LAKES in the upper left corner and it reloads

I believe it has to do with the applaud and smite "buttons" at the bottom of the post. Applaud up the +, smite ups the -. Not sure as to when's and why's of their usage though.
