You do know that Mee-n-Mac and "The Knife" are acquainted with one another?

No, I did not know that.

How acquainted?

edit:

I think I just got it. Mac is the Knife.

So how does it work ? It seems to do some simmering and shifting thingee (high tech terms I know emoticon ) but do you have pick out what's water and what' not ? Makes a pretty good simulation of moving water !

I'm not sure how the Nature Illusion software works. I did mine the hard way. I isolated the water area and made 5 copies or "frames". I added specks or "noise" to each frame and moved them from side to side. When the frames are assembled and animated, it makes the water look like it's shimmering. I would assume that Apogee's software is similar but automated. The toughest part is probably selecting the water area.

Hey there Knife,
Do you think Mee-n-Mac would mind if I used this as a header image at the WoffL bulletin board sometime next month?
I dressed it up a little with a frame.

Thanks.

I like to keep a seasonal feel to the board. If you're interested in another place to drop in on, check us out at WoffL. There's a link at the top of this page. Just submit an application and I'll wave you on through. We are a group of people that all have some connection to the Lakes region.

This invitation goes out to all members of this board. WoffL is also a Runboard bulletin board so your avatar and screen name carries over.
