Skokey's Avatar Shoppe - How to Upload an Avatar
Skokey has graciously volunteered to assist with custom-made avatars and with uploading assistance.
Skokey: automatic resize avatar feature is set to "ON" and size is set for 90 x 90.
Ask your questions here and Skokey'll give you a hand.
To get to the avatar upload section ....go to control panel and then click on "Change Misc. Settings" - The very first dialogue box is where you enter your avatar url. GOOD LUCK!!!

Re: Skokey's Avatar Shoppe - How to Upload an Avatar
Hey McDude,
While you were making a spot for me here, I posted a long winded explanation on pictures and avatars in the "how to post a photo" thread.
We'll keep the avatar requests in this thread.
I did notice that your avatar size is set to 90 x 90. Are you going to keep it there or match the WoffL forum size of 125 x 125?
The Skokenator.
Oh, I see you just changed it to 125 x 125.
If anyone is pissed that their avatar looks like crap now, it's because a smaller picture is being stretched to a bigger size. Voice your concerns here and we'll see if we can fix you up.

The first casualty of the avatar size is OnTheNeck.
Here's my fix:
Paste this URL in your control panel.

Re: Skokey's Avatar Shoppe - How to Upload an Avatar
Well I did my best! I could not copy and past as the copy and paste features would not turn on as a possible selection - talk about ostreperous - so I became obstinately defiant myself and typed in the URL directly. Let's see if it works. Thanks for the hand Skokey. The Black and Tan was delicious McDude - I didn't see the little impression of a shamrock in the foam though. Irish Immigrant Pub has the item needed to add the little final touch.

Yes, that worked, but I still can't figure out why some of the pictures that I host at ImageShack don't always show up. Your avatar wasn't on when I came here tonight until I refreshed the page a few times. Is it just my browser or does this happen to everyone?

Talk about a back-handed Irish compliment!
Skokes: I assisted OntheNeck with the original avatar. It took about three hours to migrate. We thought we didn't do it right but it just took a while.
I scoped out this Irish Immigrant Pub. Looks like a happening place! :escher:

cheers!

Re: Skokey's Avatar Shoppe - How to Upload an Avatar
I'm taking some time off to Rest In Peace from all the crap that has been going on at WoffL. Unfortunately the avatar change affects every Runboard forum that I post in. Don't be offended.

Re: Skokey's Avatar Shoppe - How to Upload an Avatar
Was just reading through all of that. I'm thinking it's time to password protect this forum to avoid any of that kind of hassle. I know it would put people off but it may be justified. McD
