Why not take the month off with pay and then quit? :D

That's exactly what everyone else at work was telling me. I'm just not the kind of person that can mislead someone else in that way. I did ask them for the 5 1/2 days vacation that I have accrued to this point and haven't taken. I'll have to wait until next week to see if I get it. If I don't, then no more Mr. Nice Guy. I gave a few guys at work my email address so I could answer questions that they might have but if the new management screws me, then they are on their own and I'll be sure to tell my friends who to thank for that.

Well, so far, they paid me for 5 extra days. Now to see if they ask for it back. One of the other guys that left there got 2 extra weeks pay and they did ask for that back. During my time off, one of the guys over there called a couple of times with some questions. I was able to help him out and he took me out to lunch last Tuesday to show his appreciation.
The new job is great. It's nice to be back with old friends.
