ALTON — A 38-year-old Plymouth woman broke her leg while riding a tube after colliding with another person on a separate tube being towed by the same boat on Hills Pond Sunday evening.
N.H. Marine Patrol, Alton Fire & Rescue and Gilmanton Fire & Rescue personnel responded after Lois Riordan broke her femur during the collision, which occurred around 6:45 p.m.
She was transported by Alton personnel to Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, where she was later admitted.
The boat was being operated by Anthony Arria, 33, of Medford, Mass. Neither he nor the other unnamed tube rider sustained injuries, according to Marine Patrol.
