mcdude,
Great picture for the opening of the site. You must carry that camera everywhere you go.

HELP AN OLE GEEZER

The question is, is Half moon where I think it is? My answer would be at the Alton & North Barnstead line on route 28. I don't know what towns it hits on the south eastern side. Come on people help an ole geezer out.
RLW1 :(

If you know where the sign for Camp Mi-Te-Na is on Rt28 then you know about where Half Moon Lake is. It's on your right as you take Rt28N just as you cross the Barnstead / Alton line. The best online map (showing the lake) I could find is here ...

http://www.newhampshirelakeregionrealestate.com/map_NH_lakes_region_winnipesaukee.php

Edit : duh had a senior moment myself. You can get a real good map depicting the lake and where it is by going to Google Maps and entering Alton NH. Google Maps shows the roads and everything ... I shoulda remembered that some guy, mcdude I think it was, showed how cool the aforementioned Google maps could be.

Town Line

I like that map....the Knife. Here's another one from the main Belknap Lakes web page. Although blurry (I have to replace it) it shows the town line going pretty much through the middle of Halfmoon Lake.
 :( :( :( :(
