How many races do you know of?

I have heard that 3rd edition had more than what there is now...lets see..I can name these ones...

*Imerium(includes all mini races like space marines,and all those chapters, the sisters of battle, the impirial army itself with all thoe mini races{ the ogryn..ect}...and anything else human i left out)
*Chaos (Deamons and all the chapters of space marines that turned in the horus heresy)
*Orc (all the ragtag clans therin)
*Eldar(and their own cast ladder)
*Tau(the greenies and greys)
*Tyranids( the infector of the universe with powerfull psycic deamons)
*Dark Eldar(this buncha miscreants)


      So did I leave any out? Any way im just looking for something unique to add here as debute opposition to the forces of the Emporor. Lets dig up something good!!

There are myriads of other races only briefly mentioned in GW. I think here is a chance to advertise the call of the wild mod im a part of *ahem*

now thats a cool idea... toatally feasable as well i suppose... but i was thinking of a totally new one and didnt want one that had already been done...

ok..so my first new race idea involes prehistoric insects (not like the nids that need the genes of another race)... a hole cast tree... a mother bug... home world history... reasons for wanting to purge the universe... how they would travel among the stars... a few troop sets in mind ( very very naughty ideas here)... some veichle sized bugs with range attack ideas...buildings that could possibly be a bug and as well make more bugs(like indidual hives/queens)... damn i could go on for hours on this one alone... powerfull psycic bugs with devastaing mind attacks and very good enhancment abbilitys to use on squads(and sence a vehicle bug is a bug they could use it on them as well) even a deamon bug or two(i wont disclose my ideas for those right now but lets just say....w00t!!

and i was as well wondering how far does the codex's mention of the hords of hell?

or what kind of things can come from the depths of the warp?

i just dont want to copy an idea thats done....thats why i have so many ideas...and i ve thought them out pretty throughly...reasons for wanting to dominate the universe... ect....

The legions of the lost and the damned are many. They include myriads of different types of mutants and freaks. U name it, it's probably there. The rules of physics do not apply there, so anything is possible. Anything can be spawned. There is also millions of different daemon types, not mentioned in 40k. So the possibilities are endless for there.

I like your idea about the bugs, like an evil swarm of killer bees. Would scare the arse off me anyway.

i got ideas...and scetches/pics for inf bugs like carnivorus 7ft long cetipeids, the scary ones are gunna be ****aroches(slightly smaller than a man)by the swarm(like i need 20 in one squadmwahahaha)... ideas for tank bugs that look like rhino beetels, praying mantids and scorpions (gargantuan)... hmmm some building bugs liike a giant queen bee... that might be the hq... then a giant maagot for the barracks...hmmmm...

now the bees they come into the picture as the fighter gaurds for the interstellar attack crusier bugs... mwahahaha

ok this is my storyline so far......

On a distant panet, stuck in limbo between three suns, a civilized race evolved on a thriving greenhouse of a planet... Due to the radiation given by the three suns that had it stuck in a non-orbit everything here evolved on a much larger scale...... now this race had tried to kill off the bugs of the planet(as they were giant 2) but every time they devolped a new way to exterminate... the bugs would burrow deeper into the planent... so life resumes on the litle planet's surface.... and the extemination of bugs up top goes on... and one day a breed of deep miner bugs gets so close to the core of the planet they come across a new type of subtsance(unbeknown to poor bugs as warp) they have to dig through... and its their job to dig so the troop of minerbugs comencens to mine through this substance and as they do so one by one they die off... now as the last one dies off it changes sex and procreates as bugs can..and as the maggot feeds on the warp and in turn the whole of the planet as it has nothing elsto eat after it eats its warp riddin parent race.. it grows and grows and as it is growing it use's its growing powers of the warp to call out to all the races above to unite and begin to war on the races above that hold dommince, so that she may emerge and find a new souce of food out in the univese as the warp and the planet are becoming in short supply... after a bloody rein of terror above the bugs of course conquer and devouror all the races and flora/fauna above... and in turn they run low on food as well ... now the "mother" has to feed her "children" as well... and the three suns are now killing each other off ... and dimming one by one....
 from the "mother" is bourn a space farring type of giant termite that harvest(devouror)the near by dead planets and make a gargantuan supper flagship for the queen to be entomebed in untill they can find more warp and/or sutible planets to devour. The "mother" then use's her abbilty's of the warp to enshroud her fllet of gargantuan mud ships to move them between space...
  emoticon now the space year is 4000 some odd emoticon

has any one heard of a race with a backgroud anything like this...? i really hope i didn't think up something old( or been done and dropped) emoticon

i have more than enough time right now too emoticon

no job, no house, no car, no kids, NO GF ... all i got is time emoticon

but right now this one is only in idea mode... but now that i have proper tools and all... i can someday soon put my plans into frutation. and of course i would pass it out... nad like i said once, i would let whoever wanted to to "wrap" it with their favorite mod and give it a go!! i belive in the shareware principle is what im saying...
