Re: Welcome to the Bloaters fans forum!
Could anybody give us some information regarding future plans under the new chairman? We are both yarmouth supporters from a distance, our first being Hull City, but we spend alot of time in Yarmouth and try to make our visit coinside with Yarmouth playing at home. We both believe the town could easily support a Blue Square Premier side if the town people could get behind the side.

Re: Welcome to the Bloaters fans forum!
Greetings to All,
I am glad to have found this forum and hope to follow Bloaters action here during the season. As my name suggests, I live in Houston, Texas. My connection to Gt. Yarmouth is it's where I was born, although I moved to Houston when I was 3 months old.
As I live in Houston I am a big fan of the Houston Dynamo of the MLS. I also support Blackpool FC as the Dynamo and BFC formed an informal bond a couple of seasons ago. The relationship between fans started with Tim Lovejoy encouraging English football fans to support an MLS side on his "David Beckham's Soccer USA" program. The BFC fan website voted to support the Houston Dynamo (both sides wear the same colors and former Seasider, Paul Dalglish, was with the Dynamo at the time.) Dynamo fans presented BFC with a gift of two palm trees (like the trees at the stadium where the Dynamo play) which we hope will adorn the soon to be renovated Bloomfield Road.
Enough about other clubs! I'm here to read and learn about my favorite new club, GYTFC! I've already read through the official team site and Wikipedia page. Links to other sites a new Bloaters fans should know would be greatly appreciated.
Have fun,
Houston Bloater
