Winter riding
So, what is it like through the winter guys? I started kiting in May, and still very very very much a beginner, but I am not a wuss I am still getting my head around nep and spring tides, water temps etc - so whats the deal? can I expect to get out often, even if it means a dose of brain freeze?

Re: Winter riding
you need a small kite if we are lucky!!! best time of year, less people, more wind. cold not that much of an issue with a good winter suit and gloves, maybe a hood. (gimp outfits all the rage at the green!!!)biggest issue is the wind can be gustier so best to go under size. always remember that if you do mess up and spend a long time in the water you get cold bloody quick. stay close to shore... 5m is standin by!!!
