Lite Wave Tsunami

Lite Wave Tsunami 133 - 41

I tried this board a couple of times, once in light winds low tide and once in heavy winds high and choppy tide.
Im 85Kilo

First of all this board looks the business with great graphics really nice adjustable foot straps.
The first time you pick it up you think it’s quite a heavy board (which I suppose it is) But once it’s on your feet you change your mind and it feels really comfy and light.
In the light wind and flatter water this board gets you going super early which allows you to generate some wind over your kite, then you lean back head up wind, and this board has no problems going upwind. I was amazed at how far upwind I was going and with so little effort.
I found it to be really skatey, which I liked on the flatter water and small waves, it made switching from toe to heel and vice versa so easy which is a bonus for beginners. I didn’t really try any jumps as the wind was to light.

But out again and the wind was about 25mph, I was on a 12mtr kite and well powered, but the board still felt stable and due to its edging capabilities I was flying up wind. It was nice to be out on a board that doesn’t send loads of spray into your face.
It cut through the chop and rode over the waves with such ease.
I was thinking that the board would be to stiff for its size, but once again I was proved wrong. It felt so different to the way I thought it would.
the stiffness of the board gives it a great amount of pop and then landing them big airs is easy .
Carving and riding the waves (or should I say the mush) was good fun and so easy.
This is a board built to suit the ever changing conditions of British waters and would suit any rider from beginner through to experienced.
Its built like a tank but performs like a sports car, you will not be disappointed with it.

Down Sides
If your used to riding a flat board or a board with massive fins the amount of skaty-ness will take a while to dial into but when you do its worth it.
I think If you’re a bigginer and thinking of getting this board I would consider getting some bigger fins to use for your first few months until you’ve got your water starts and stopping sorted, other than that it’s a great board.
