Nailsea Churches Charity 6 A Side Tournament
We are currently organising a charity 6 a side tournament on the 6th August. I have emailed as many of you as I can and have already had entries from some you. However some of the emails have been returned undeliverable and I make sure that all teams are aware so no one misses out. I am hoping I can reach everyone via the message board.
The tournament is for 8 teams with two leagues of 4 running alongside one another. The top will play the semi finals followed by a 3rd place play off and final.
The cost is £25 per team, no limits on squad sizes. it will be held at Gordano Sports centre Portishead. I am also aiming to produce a tournament newsletter/booklet after the tournament with all the results, stats, photos, player & manager interviews & profiles (from the different teams) and team profiles etc with the hope entrants will buy a copy to raise further funds.
All the money raised will go to the Portishead Youth centre.
It will be a first come first served and I have already recieved entries so please get in quick for those of you wishing to play and yet to enter.
Please email me or phone. Details on web site.

Re: Nailsea Churches Charity 6 A Side Tournament
We're looking for another 2 more teams to make up the 8 planned for a charity 6-a-side tournament.
It's going to be great fun - it'll be held at Gordano school in Portishead on astro turf.
We'll have 2 leagues of 4 teams running on 2 astro pitches. We've got 2 referee's booked up and they'll be a trophy for the winner. But the important bit is that all proceeds will go to the Portishead Youth Centre redevelopment project.
We're hoping to raise in the region of £200 to £300, so well worth the effort.
Hopefully someone from the local paper will also be covering it so it should be some good exposure for the league.
We'd like to run it every year as part of our pre-season training, but keeping it small like this. Hopefully next year we will allow the winner to select a charity of their choice.
Please email myself or John if you'd like to enter a team.
Many thanks,
Mike
