Withdrawal of CLub

If there is a way of expunging the record of a club that has resigned from the league in mid season, then I haven't unearthed it yet.

If anyone has, could they please point me in the right direction. I refuse to believe that the only way to deal with this scenario is by having to make a points adjustment against each team that the resigning team has played, especially as this will not take account of the removal of goals for and against!!

Nick
This is fairly straightforward once you've done it once.
Go to the division your taking the team out of and then go to Fixture Wizard, then Manual and then click on each fixture for the team your cancelling down be it either a result or date.
This brings up the Update Fixture page where you would normally change a date/ground etc but if you look at the top right corner you will see 'Delete this Fixture'. Click on that and it will cancel the fixture and any stats etc. Do this for each fixture and you will be left with the cancelled team at the bottom of the league.

You now have to remove the players if you have them on the system. The quickest way to do this is to go to People Wizard>Transfers and then on the left pull up the team your cancelling and check the Close boxes on all the players. This will put them in the People Wizard Area as People withou roles as they will no longer be attached to a team.

The final bit is to then select 'Teams' on the left menu bar and delete the team from the division.

This will leave your league table updated with all records expunged.

This is not reversible so if in doubt I would download a backup of your seasons fixtures first.

I then create a notice to show on that division page saying who has withdrawn and records are expunged etc, saves a lot of phone calls from managers asking where their points went etc.

Hope this helps and would be interested if anyone else does it differant.
