Squad sizes

Slightly concerned for the new Div 2 team Freedom Centre Bath who, according to Full-Time, have only one person available for their game on Saturday. Has anyone from the league explained that we play the more traditional 11 a side brand of football?

Also a bit irritated that Hope have pulled off a major signing from under our noses in the last few days of the transfer window managing to sign Nathan, a (very good) central midfielder who had previously expressed an interest in joining the way of life that is Santos. Unfortunaely the Hope gaffer had that little bit more leverage as Nathan is going out with his wife's sister. Looks like Saturday could be even tougher for us than I thought. Arse.

Re: Squad sizes

Maybe it was pointed out to him by Hope that if he played for santos all he would be required to do is set up goals for the Santos gaffer, rather than going out to win games and score goals emoticon

Won a few things the game has to offer but only still playing cos I sleep with the man who picks the team.

With a name like that, he's bound to be good. emoticon

He'd better not join the message board though. There's already one too many Nathan's here as it is.

But I'm not going anywhere NJ SAS!!!! emoticon

Used to be part of the Bishopston team I think - slightly dodgy highlights in his hair more accustomed to someone who drinks Smirnoff Ice and eats candy floss I reckon.

Re: Squad sizes

Thats not the attitude we like to see Mr Khan or are you thinking of a transfer to Woodies for the season???

Nothing like starting a good rumour is there emoticon

As for playing for a different Church to the one that you worship at - perhaps Davo would are to add his thoughts on this - not too late to move to Hope you know Dave - in partnership with our great new signing - we'll even let you score all the goals (we need some one to do it - or do we???? - sleep well on that thought Dave) emoticon

Re: Squad sizes

Nathan played in the the North Somerset Council Team for the recent 6-a-side comp in Portishead.

A great player who will make Hope even more difficult to beat.

He does have highlights, I can't say they are dodgy, just incase we (Nailsea) manage to change his mind at the last minute.
