Re: Predictions - 2nd Sept Div 1

I have no idea about Div 1 teams, but here goes anyway.

Christchurch 3-1 Hayhill
Slip 2-1 Sanctuary
Rock 2-3 PnJ
Widcombe 2-3 Woodies
Thornbury P-P BSXI

I think Hayhill will be a bit weak before the students arrive, so backing Christchurch to win. Have to back us to win. I have faith in my team. Rock to give Pip n Jay a close game, but to fall just short. Woodies to pick up a win in the most entertaining clash of the day. emoticon

Having a feeling that BSXI will pull out of Thornbury game. Call it a hunch...

Woodies definitely on for the treble!!!

Christchurch 2-1 Hayhill

Counterslip 3-1 Sanctuary

Rock 1-2 PnJ

Widcombe 1-3 Woodies

I reackon we will get off to a winning start but it will be hard work. Christchurch should have just too much for Hayhill. As for Woodies as long as their Strikers turn up they should be able to beat Widcombe. PnJ will edge out Rock in a close game.

We have a friendly agaist Widcome Corinthians.
What are they like? Any key men to watch out for?
Dont worry boys, I'll pop over after our match to see the end of the others at Bath uni, Eko save me a seat for the dinner!

We beat them 6-0 last week. No key men I'm afraid.

If Slip only beat Sanctaury 2-1 they're going to struggle.
Widcombe are always a wild card, they will either blow Woodies away or thats not a bad shout.
We're too scared to play.
PnJ's and Christchurch to win.

I've never seen Sanctuary, so I've got no idea what they're like. Plus, whenever we have a game that we think we should win comfortably, we always get a bit complacent and our play gets sloppy, meaning it ends up being a tough game for us. I'm confident that this is exactly what will happen tomorrow.
