There is lot of stuff on him. Did he realy do the London Marathon this year in 2:35. that is very good going especially considering he is almost 40 (next week if Athleticsdata is reliable).

Hartford Fathers won 10-1 this week, although it was against bottom of the table who had 10 men. Gonna be a tough game.

Paul - I have honourably voluntered to go scouting for talent on 20th October when they next play at home, and will prepare a written piece on their capabilities.

I'll come with you. Loving your signature Dave, i'm guessing it's our record against each other?

Although if you count our friendly win, I believe we've won 5, Woodies 4 and one draw.

One thing though Dave. As we've played them 10 times in just over 3 years, surely we should have a pretty good idea of who they are?

I thought Ashton said he'd done it a bit slower than that (2:42 roughly), but he came 72nd overall!! I think it's only about the second time he's done it. The previous year he did it so quickly that they put him in with the elite racers for this year. He also only took up running about 3 years ago when he decided to retire from football. Eakes, there's hope for you yet. emoticon

It does look like he did it in 2 hours 35 then. Is that list British men 35yrs and over? If so, Ashton's uncle is the 19th quickest over35 marathon runner in the country!! Pretty impressive.

Look boys, take your obsession with Woodies, let it grow and nuture it, and extend it to some other teams so you stand a good chance of avoiding relegation. emoticon

Paul, how are you coping after being sacked from your part time job at Cadbury's? You and the other Umpa Lumpas must be livid.
