Only saw some of it as I was at work but I don't care, good result in the end.

Watched most of the game. Poor performance, but a decent result. It was always going to be the most difficult game we would have to play in the group stage. Pennant was stupid, but you'd have thought Lucile had broken his leg the way he was clutching it.

Some bad news Nath...

I'm confident of Mash sitting in for Xabi but Hyypia for 6 weeks? We should have bought another cb in the window 'cos now if Sami or Carra get injured, we're screwed.

Got mine and Ben's tickets for Reading vs Liverpool on tues emoticon Only downside, have to sit with Reading fans.

TBC - please transfer the '92 thread' over to this board so we can carry it on emoticon emoticon emoticon

Bad news indeed. It says 4-6 weeks in the thread, so let's hope it's the former with Agger. Time to get Hyypia in your fantasy teams....

Although he scored the first one, but it had to be retaken for encroaching. Amazingly, I noticed at least one Everton player still clearly encroaching on the retake!!

Nath, given your refereeing performance last year v Woodies (see photographic evidence) I am surprised to hear that you know what encroaching is. emoticon
