Really annoyed with Rafa today, as I think most Pool fans will be. Pompey away - probably 4 or 5th hardest away game of the season, never easy to go there and he leaves the on fire El Nino on the bench! So what if he played midweek for Spain. We are 5 games into the season, how does he need a rest, he's 23 not 43!! Last prem game we played Derby at home, could have rested him there. Next we have Brum at home, could have rested him there. You could say that we are playing Porto midweek, yeah so what it's the beginning of the season not half way through emoticon emoticon

He did and he shouldn't have. 3 disappointing performances in a week.

The Arsenal 'crisis' is deepening...

'Arsenal have revealed their status as Britain's richest football club following figures released on Monday morning which show their move to Emirates Stadium helped increase turnover to more than £200million.'

Good to see Chelski drop points yesterday, aided by the worst refereeing performance of the season, Mikel should of got a yellow, Cole should of had red and Saha should of got red for that dive. If a professional foul is red, I don't see why conning the ref for a penalty shouldn't be red as well.

Avram Grant has to be the most sour faced manager I have ever seen!.. surely not the type of manager to inspire.. not like Eakes emoticon

But it was actually a penalty.

Never was it a pen!... I don't agree with the thinking that you are entitled to go down if a defender makes contact, that is cheating, and in this instance Saha was barely touched.

I'd agree with this. Whilst there was contact, football is a contact sport (last time I checked). It was never enough to actually take Saha down. He completely dived, and the ref fell for it.

Why should J.Cole have been sent off? His tackle on Evra in first half was a great one and he clearly got the ball.

Onto Rafa.....

You spend 20 odd mil on a player, he knocks in a few early goals and leave him on the bench 2 weeks running. Does it work? No. We still should have had enough to beat Brum without him but how many times does he need resting?!?!?!?! He's 23 for crying out loud and it's September not March! Surely he wasn't resting him to play him in the carling cup tomorrow emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Did you miss the second half?, challenge by Cole on Ronaldo was a straight red.

As for Rafa, like you said, you should of had enough to beat Brum, I thought you'd be used to his rotation policy by now
