You spend 20 odd mil on a player, he knocks in a few early goals and leave him on the bench 2 weeks running. Does it work? No. We still should have had enough to beat Brum without him but how many times does he need resting?!?!?!?! He's 23 for crying out loud and it's September not March! Surely he wasn't resting him to play him in the carling cup tomorrow emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Rafa Out?

Not yet.

Did you miss the second half?, challenge by Cole on Ronaldo was a straight red.

Not sure on the rules here. It was a deliberate trip, and he had no chance of making the ball, but Chelsea did have cover back there, so it wasn't a "last man" situation. I thought a red would have been very harsh, yellow deserved.

at the time I thought it was yellow but I now think red, it was as cynical a challenge as you will see and Cole had no intention of getting the ball, it was also dangerous

Wasn't a trip Nath - deliberate studs up on the back of the heel. Not too sure it was quite red card material. First up I thought Mikel's was a red but then on replay it didn't look quite as bad.

cole should have seen red and should be punished by the fa on video evidence. Mikel was unlucky but then got his deserts for signing for Utd and then saying he wanted to go to chelski cos they offered him shed load of cash.

really hope chelski freefall now

Torres is in the squad for tonight but Kuyt and Voronin aren't emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Telegraph reported yesterday that Rafa defended leaving Torres on bench on saturday because he knew Brum would come and defend deep so there wouldn't be much spce behind them for Torres to exploit.

So I guess we'll never see Torres at Anfield again then emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Knob.

Don't think he can be trialled by video evidence when the ref sees it and only warrants it a yellow card.

Don't want to talk about Liverpool emoticon

Van Persies free kick was unreal yesterday. 77 mph!! When it bounced back up into the net, I though it was going to break!

Anyone see Henri Camara's 'headed' goal? He got booked 'cos he blatently punched it into the net. I don't get why you can be sent of for stopping a goal with your hand but not for scoring one. It's blatent cheating. Anyone agree?
