Suppose but if we lose we will be more fired up for sunday as it will be an even bigger game.

You chat about it all day, but anything can happen in these sort of games. Il be more than happy with a draw.

I just don't want us to lose. I think it will be a scoring draw.

The perfect weekend for Man Utd - they win, Chelsea lose Drogba for probably 11 games in total, Liverpool lose and Arsenal lose. Next sunday is going to mean even more now!

Indeed, next week is very important. I'd take going out of Europe if we beat United next week! If we win and so do Chelsea then it gets very tight.

If you do go out on tuesday, i think we will get a result. If you win on Tuesday then I dunno, never that confident about going to Anfield. I wouldnt say either of us are playing at thier best at the moment.

Our players do get a week off before the game, sometimes though im never sure if thats an advantage or not.

But still if its a draw on the 90 minute mark, we have O'Shea to bring on! emoticon

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Cannot wait for sunday.

I'm just waiting for FLF to come on here and tell us that Gerrard took a dive for the penalty... emoticon

Also, has anyone seen Gooner recently? Haven't seen him on here for a few days now - around the time Arsenal's form dipped I think.... emoticon

Why the hell was the red card not issued to the Marseille player, he was clearly the last man! Maybe the ref bottled it cos it was only the 4th minute, but then in a game of such importance you would think they would want to stick to the letter of the law. He is a top class ref too.

Still have to find Liverpool fans hilarious, no doubt most will have put 50 quid on them winning the treble now!

Probably another case of match fixing again, like the 8-0 is suspected of being *headshake*

No match fixing going on whatsoever. We just wanted to make things interesting before we showed our true form. emoticon

Tough second round game for us. It'll either be AC Milan, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona or possibly Sevilla. I hope one of the English teams get Celtic or Rangers (if they qualify). An England-Scotland tie would be very spicy. When is the draw? Friday?

The draw is next friday (21st) - Liverpool will want to avoid Barcelona, the others all look beatable.

Nath. This will amuse you. Email between a few of the Woodies boys over the last week or so......

JP to Martin 4th Dec 07

"You still injured then journeyman?"

Martin to JP 4th Dec

"I can’t play on Saturday, going to see Arsenal away to Middlesbrough, should be an easy 3 points!... but aren’t they all easy for this Arsenal team!"

JP to Martin 9th Dec

"Oh dear journeyman!!!!!!"

Martin to JP 12th Dec

"Congratulations JP, you’ve had to wait until December for a chance to laugh at a Gooner!"

 emoticon

On the subject of amusing email discussions, check out some of Kirby's attempts to guess which famous person was next to us at training on Monday night (Harry Enfield for those who missed it). I gave him 20 questions to guess it...

"Kirby Q7: Has he been in a sitcom eg the Office?
Nathan A7: Yes, but he's not very well know for that. (He was the original Tony in Men Behaving Badly for those that don't know)."

A few questions later....

"Kirby Q14: David Jason?"

Er, cos he's not at all well known for being in a sitcom is he? And it gets worse...

"Kirby Q15: Bruce Forsyth?"

 emoticon

Then, after he'd given up, I gave him the following clue...

"He had his own show late 90’s-early 00’s with his friends. It was basically a sketch show, in which he played lots of different characters, and was very popular, showing on BBC1. He then did an entire film featuring two of his most popular characters."

Kirby's guess? Clive Anderson. emoticon

I don't think it was just his collar bone that got broken the other week..... emoticon
