Not so sure why a Dubai based company is seen as such a great alternative myself.

Proven track record of investing money to make themselves the best in any given sport. Can't do worse than the gobby yanks.

Plus they are actually Liverpool fans.

I can't help being a little sceptical about this. They might well be, but half of me thinks they've probably never really supported an English team, but because they're thinking of buying, they circulated a story saying they were fans to make true fans keen on them.

Can't imagine them being worse than the Yanks though!

Agre with this (although not about Tottenham being a mid-table team emoticon ) I think the top 3 have got further away, and Liverpool are now in a group with Everton, Villa, Spurs & Pompey who will all be challenging for 4th spot next season (think Man city are over achieving this season) and teams no longer fear going to Anfield like the used to. Without Gerrard & Torres, Liverpool would be mid table. There are no longer a 'top 4' in the premier league with a chasing group, its a 'top 3' with a chasing group

Spurs challenging for 4th place....

..now where have I heard that before? emoticon

Brum 4-1 Spurs

 emoticon

Top 4 team? Joke.

Coming from a Liverpool fan that's kinda funny, weren't you supposed to be challenging for top? emoticon ..I think for Spurs the season is over, they have exceeded expectation by actually winning something!

...and The Arsenal still hanging in there but for how long before Man Yoo blaze away?... I hope I'm wrong

I predict the Prem will finish...

1. United
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal

Anyone notice Lineker's jibe at Ashley Cole on MOTD? "Nice to see Ashley Cole scoring again." Getting a bit silly now. Wasn't he divorced by his wife for playing away?

I thought it was hilarious, especially Shearers face, he looked well embarassed!
