Text messages between myself and Beano yesterday -
Just after Masch got sent off, Beano sent me - 'Lol @ Mascherano. U cud tell that was going 2 happen.'
I replied - 'Torres shouldn't have been booked 'cos he just wanted some protection, so ref kind of asked for it but still when you're on a yellow you don't go over like that.'
Beano's reply - '100% agree, bennetts always bina knob but mascherano was stupid.'
So which one is the truth? 
I wasn't saying he should have got involved, it was the wrong thing to do. Gerrard was playing but as he had a bad game, he's not world class anymore. Ask Turpin, he's the expert.

Grandslam Super Sunday wasn't so super after all!...
As much as I wanted Liverpool to beat Man Yoo and I like Mascherano I applauded him getting sent off, how idiotic of him!... Rafa should also be partly blamed, he should of made sure his team would not behave like that especially on this weekend in such a high profile game. I hope the refs have the balls to send off one the English players when they next whinge too much, be it Terry, Lampard, Cole, Gerrard or Rio.... had it been Eboue or Gallas sent off for the same thing I would'nt be offering any excuses.
As for the games themselves, Liverpool looked like they didn't believe they could win with 11 men, with 10 they were hopeless!.. Carragher again proving what everyone (apart from Liverpool fans) knows...
Arsenal really p****d me off, they played ok up to going in the lead, then a few players went down with injuries trying to break the game up and all it resulted in doing was Arsenal losing their shape!!.. I don't think too much analysing is needed of Arsenal's failing, they lack experience.. just look at Man Yoo and Chelski's benches for the difference, Man Yoo - Tevez, Hargreaves, Nani, Chelski- Alex, Anelka.. Arsenal - Bendtner, Walcott, Diaby... talented players but not ready to win a you a league.

On Sky they showed a replay of Mascherano's sending off (from the point he started to run over to the ref). Half the screen was him and the other half was Rafa. Rafa was constantly shouting 'Javier' 'Javier' 'Javier' 'Javier' - all the time until he got booked! Rafa was trying to calm him down!
We had our best spell with 10 men!

I'm talking about Rafa telling his players that before the game, not during it!!...
You had a good spell for maybe ten minutes, other than that Man Yoo were toying with you, you just sat in your half repelling attack after attack.. to me it looked like you''d thrown in the towel, I'm sure rafa will say it was tactics but I've seen 10 men play far better..
You Liverpool fans are very sensitive about Carragher, sure he's a good defender in your average Premiership game but technically he is found wanting against very good teams. You're wrong to blame Skertel, he is supposed to look for his experienced partner to set a good example (as Eakes looks to JP)... Carragher was crap, accept it..
Toure is most certainly better, Gallas is better even if he's past his best, Senderos maybe...
