Harry Kewell, what a waste of space!... doesn't it annoy you that your hard earned money finances his lifestyle which doesn't often involve playing football?

We may only have 4 regulars that are English but we have several promising youngsters coming through the youth system.
Jack Hobbs, Craig Lindfield and Robbie Threlfall are 3 I can think of.

Paul Anderson is meant to be pretty good I think.

Really annoyed with Rafa today, as I think most Pool fans will be. Pompey away - probably 4 or 5th hardest away game of the season, never easy to go there and he leaves the on fire El Nino on the bench! So what if he played midweek for Spain. We are 5 games into the season, how does he need a rest, he's 23 not 43!! Last prem game we played Derby at home, could have rested him there. Next we have Brum at home, could have rested him there. You could say that we are playing Porto midweek, yeah so what it's the beginning of the season not half way through emoticon emoticon

Since when does scoring two goals against Derby count as being "on fire"? At least Rafa played the one fire Xabi Alonso.

Scored against Chelsea, scored for Spain mid-week and everytime he has played he has been outstanding.

Not sure that's quite true. He didn't do a great deal against Villa on the opening day, and he missed a couple of decent chances against Sunderland before setting up Voronin. I didn't realise he'd scored for Spain midweek though, I have to say. He looks like he'll be an excellent player for us ultimately though, and we should have started him against Portsmouth.
