Uh, no. Nath it is, no-one else. I said Liverpool fan - Eakes you said you're not a Liverpool fan. Therefore, put a sock in it. The only reason is for a chance of inflicting humiliation on whoever the bet is with if I win - that's worth a pound. I will not feel humiliated if I lose.

Ok, I've been looking at this from a legalistic point of view (not that I'm an expert - far from it). To be fair, you said you were only willing to put "a quid" on the bet. Therefore, you can probably wangle out of having to pay out to more than one person as you were only putting forward £1 of your own money.
Not sure whether your second sentence is watertight in implying that you would only place the bet with a Liverpool fan. It seems more of a general challenge to Liverpool fans as they would be most likely to take you up on it. Although Eakes has admitted he's not a Liverpool fan, I'm not sure you can exlude him because he isn't. Your bet/challenge was the first sentence in my eyes, and didn't restrict to Liverpool fans.
If you do ignore Eakes' claim, he may be able to take you to the European courts and sue you for discrimination. For £1.
