Re: Cinema
well usually i can convince her to go see films i want but she doesn't want to go to it.
All of my mates are being gits and saying they don't want to see it and i don't fancy sitting in a cinema by myself watching it.
She doesn't like me playing football because she doesn't want me getting hurt even though i know i'll be fine. Plus she wants to go on a long weekend away and wants to go during the season and i keep saying no. but what i will do is convience her over the summer football is good lol.

I didn't realise she was caring like that! Having one weekend off isn't bad at all, I've done it, you have to let them have 1 weekend per football season.

If the missus is telling you not to play football, she's not worth it (unless she's Kylie or Cheryl Cole or JLH). You need a life away from the missus aswell as one with her.
I agree (apart from the Kylie bit). Write her a letter Lumps...
"Welcome to Dumpsville. Population: you."
Alternatively, tell her you're gay.
Thanks to Homer Simpson for those suggestions.

That's the thing to do. There are also 18 weekends between the end of one season and beginning of the next. Better to miss a pre-season friendly than a competitive game.

Re: Cinema
Went to see Step Up 2 on Good Friday (doing my duties to the missus). Shocking film, standard "urban chick flick" but the girl in it is one of the fittest girls I've ever seen and it was a joy to watch her prance around half naked for 1hr or 2.

I beleive we have to make these sort of sacrifices for the missus.
