Haven't seen it but he is an awesome fielder, the new Hershelle Gibbs or Jonty Rhodes. Can keep wicket as well. Think he played schoolboy level for South Africa either at rugby or hockey. One of these sickingly talents all round sportsmen I reckon.

Like Phil Neville emoticon

Phil Neville and Sportsman should not be mentioned in the same subject topic.

Dave, when you play cricket with Charlie this week, find out if he can get the pitch after your season finishes and we'll come and play you after it finishes.

Flintoff said the only player in his age group (around u15-u16) that was of a similar standard to him at cricket was the one and only Mr Phil Neville.

I'm afraid that makes him an all round sportsman that few could compete with.

50+ England caps would say otherwise.

I found this quote on a website:

"Phil was also an excellent cricketer in his youth and a contemporary in Lancashire's Under-19 side of England's star all-rounder Andrew Flintoff. It is said that he was good enough to have been a professional cricketer if football had not claimed him. One of Phil's former coaches called him the greatest schoolboy cricketer he'd ever known. His father, the wonderfully named Neville Neville, was a well-known league cricketer in Lancashire."

The worst player to ever reach 50 caps.

Re: Cricket

Cricketers are no better than footballers...

A girl friend of mine had an overnight stay at a Gloucestershire players house a while ago. She bumped into him on Saturday night briefly and they exchanged a few awkward words. Then he randomly messaged her yesterday to ask if she was pregnant. She replied no. At which point you would think he'd be suitably embarrassed, maybe even try to cover his tracks with a line like 'you were glowing like only pregnant women seem to'. But no, his reply was "you have a bit of a bump there" - Ouch!
