The Simpsons has a new fan....
....and her name is Rhiana. I usually give her a bedtime feed at about 7pm and watch The Simpsons at the same time on Channel 4+1. The other day when we were at my mum's, she noticed that when the Simpsons came on, Rhiana was really paying attention to it. At the time, I put it down to coincidence.
However, tonight I got down to feeding her a bit earlier than normal. She got about 3/4 of the way through the bottle, and her eyes were almost shut. Then, The Simpsons music strikes up. Within a few bars, the eyes were wide open, and a few seconds later, she was looking round at the TV. Shen then proceeded to have about 2 sucks of milk, followed by more turning round towards the TV and repeated this until I actually considered turning the damn programme off!!
Still, nice to know my little girl has got taste...

Nath, let her enjoy it now while she doesn't understand it. As soon as she is 2 or so your wife will deem it inappropriate content for a young un. My niece and nephew aren't allowed to watch it and they are 5 and 3.

I'm not sure if she'll view it as inappropriate or not when she's a bit older. There's hardly ever bad language in it, and it's actually pretty moralistic. I think people that ban it have never really watched it.
