The 'Slip Masters
With the football season coming to a close, The 'Slip's main superstars chilled out on the golf course. The first of 4 rounds of golf was held today at Ashton Court in the Ashton Court Plateau Open.
Beano 'Mr Finesse', went into the series as firm favourite following his schooling of Ashton 'Powerhouse', and Dan 'Up and down', in a previous round of golf last year. The odds before The Masters reflected this, Beano 3-1, Dan 7-1 and Ashton 12-1.
The favourite started the round in horrific form, scoring a 6 and a 7 in his first 3 holes. Ashton took an early lead but soon Dan stamped his authority on The Open, consistently scoring 4's with a couple of 3's thrown in for good measure. Beano threatened to close the gap with the most 3's in the round but never recovered from his early blip but did nick 2nd place with only 1 to play as Ashton recorded a 6.
The final result saw Dan ahead of Beano by 6 and Ashton by 7, and going into the next round this friday, the odds have changed as to who will take the title.
Dan evens, Beano 3-1, Ashton 16-1, Turpin 1000-1.
This friday sees the 2nd round take place at The Ashton Court Lodge course for The Ashton Court Lodge Open.

Anyway back to the Masters, disapointing performance from the favourite/reigning champion. Couldnt get the consistancy going, glimmers of what could happen with the most 3's.
I know I can do better, but the best thing is they know I can do better!
p.s Ashton is a complete golfing powerhouse/hardman.
