Close, but incorrect!
Not that I should judge, I texted you to tell you he had lost 7-5 6-3 6-4.

You look at Tiger. Had major surgery on his knee, hadn't played in months, plays 90 holes with his knee giving him so much jip,and he wins The Open. He is a winner. Murray is a joke.
Tiger also managed to ensure that he misses the next 5 months of golf including the Ryder Cup. Not quite such a winner.
Still won a major though.

Re: Tennis Thread
Spring, what do you think about Radwanska shocking Serena later on?
Radwanska won in Eastbourne a couple of weeks ago, she also won the Wimbledon girls singles title in 2005 and her favourite surface is grass.
11/4 on offer...

Re: Tennis Thread
A good case, but I wouldn't back it on this occasion. I think Serena has got too much for her and I even think she will beat her sister in the final should it come to that.
My tip for the ladies is out though so i'm not too confident in my judgements in that department.
Nevertheless, save the money and back Serena to win in 3 sets.
What abouts the mens tho? Federer, Safin, Clement and Nadal to get through?
I'm still saying Murray will win!!!

I backed Venus for the tournament.
Ancic could take a set or two off of Fed plus Lopez and Schuettler never know when they're beaten. I fancy Murray to take Nadal to 5 and anything could happen in the 5th. It's really tricky predicting who will win from now on.

Re: Tennis Thread
Murray will take Nadal to 4 at best, assuming Nadal isn't hampered by the injury he picked up yesterday.

Re: Tennis Thread
There was some good wins for the British Juniors today. Especially for Laura Robson who beat the Top seed in the girls singles.
