Incidentally, why do tennis players get good so young?
Laura Robson who has made the semi's in the girls singles seems to be pretty good and she is only 14!!! Maybe there is hope for British womens tennis after all. She was born in Melbourne though. Then again there was a British lad who made the final of the boys singles a few years back. I think his name was Miles Kasiri. He was a year older than Murray. Haven't heard of him since.

I'll still be supporting Federer, There is just something about Nadal that I don't really like, maybe it is his arrogance. Federer to me is so much more modest and likeable with it.
I'll be supporting Fed as well, but I can't agree with your comments about Nadal's arrogance. The guy is playing phenomenal tennis. I think that arrogance is when you get ideas above your station - Nadal has put in a ridiculous amount of work in order to be as good as he is and he has every right to say he'll win this and that and that he's better than so-and-so. He's earned it. In terms of a 'power' game I think he's the best there's ever been.
I actually think that there's a lesson here for the whole sporting world: We're lucky enough to be watching two of the worlds best ever tennis players go toe to toe, and the respect they show each other is admirable.
Anyway, the reason I'm supporting Fed is simply because I've never seen a player make tennis look as amazing as he does. Wimbledon was boring when Sampras was winning it every year, but I can't say the same about Fed's victories over the last five years.
So, I'd like Fed to win. That said, I don't think he will. He was just about able to dictate the pace of the game in last year's final, but Nadal has stepped up a gear on grass and his power will enable him to take the game out of Fed's comfort zone.
Either way, there will be a worthy winner.

Good to see Murray admit he was outclassed last night. Probably didn't quite do himself justice but that probably says more about how good Nadal was I reckon.
I still think Murray has had a fairly good Wibledon, He is not far from the top 5 now. It's just that the top 2 are so far ahead of the rest with Djokovic adrift on his own in 3rd.

This shows how far ahead:
1. Federer 6900pts
2. Nadal 5755
3. Djokovic 5360
4. Davydenko 3115
5. Ferrer 3005
6. Rod**** 2280
7. Nalbandian 2100
8. Blake 2015
9. Wawrinka 1615
10. Gasquet 1610
11. Murray 1555
It's not too big a jump for Murray to get as high as 6. I'll be interested to see how high Safin and Schuettler's rankings go after the tournament. They're currently in the 70's and 90's respectively.

Probably. I think Safin is the more likely to prove you wrong, but if I was a betting man, I'd go for straight sets.
