Spain and Greece to qualify from Group D - 20 points at 11/4 with Sportingbet.
- Spain are the quality team in group D, I'm not convinced that they'll get further than the semi finals but they should coast through this group. Greece qualified for this tournament with the best record in qualifying, they are organised, competitive and they've been there and done it before. Russia are missing their star striker and when the pressure was on them in qualifying, they drew with Israel and I thought they were average against England. Sweden are an ageing side, the likes of Ljungburg and Larsson are past their best and I don't rate Ibrahimovic.
Croatia to beat Austria 30 points at 10/11 with Paddy Power.
- I was a bit doubtful about this one because I already have a couple of bets riding on Austria being very poor and Croatia qualifying. To add to what I said before, 6 months ago Austria's fans wanted them to drop out of the tournament because they feared it would be too embarrassing. They did beat Malta last week for their first win in 12 months and they are playing at home, so there are reasons to be fearful but surely Croatia will have too much.

Austria weren't that bad, I can't see Croatia causing Germany and then possibly Portugal many problems. They're missing Eduardo more than I thought they would.

All 3 - A point can be 10p, 50p, £1 etc. - it's a scale to how confident I am.
I am staking money on everything I post (to the same point scale too).
It's also a way of generating some interest in the tournament for me whilst maybe prompting some discussion about the bets. I need to finish above zero to beat Eakes.

Germany and Croatia to qualify from Group B - 30 points at 5/6
Portugal to beat Turkey - 50 points at 4/5 + 40 points
Croatia to beat Ausria - 30 points at 10/11 + 27.27 points
Spain and Greece to qualify from Group D - 20 points at 11/4

Well done Turps, got ahead on some pretty easy bets there.
But if you must include me, then I would say that I would invest that 200 units in something. I'll invest it in a 5% bond somewhere. So doing easy maths, I'll invest 200 units at 5% which would be 10 units over a year, so rounding it to 1 unit over a month for the tournament. So I start on +1. 
I'm still confident of beating you.
