Referees Courses
GFA Refereeing Courses for Summer & Autumn 2008
GFA 3 Sept 24
Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Nov 5, 12, 19, & 26 Basic 11v11 Wed 6.30-9.30pm GFA,
Oaklands Park, Almondsbury
Course fees are £57 (under 16s £37). Please send payment for the full amount. Under the FAMOA scheme, new referees can claim part of the cost of the course back. How do i find out about referee courses closer to home...Like the Somerset FA i rung them up and they said they don't know when they will be!

In Somerset they are run by the Referee's society's themselves.
The Bath Society will be running one about October time and I can get you the phone number of our training Officer if you wish. Frome and District may be closer for you, If you wish I can get their secretary's number.
The Bath society of which I am a member hold their course at Twerton Park, and we have members that come up from your area.

That would be great, I did the Coaching there a couple of years back if you could send me the contact details, it would be much appreciated.Trying to think of my footballing career post age 35! Planning ahead at the moment, just joined our companies pension scheme, for some reason.
Talking of planning ahead is there an exact date for the BCFA fixtures to be released, I wouldn't mind going to a few away city games this year but don't know what ones I can mkae due to Welton commitments, we have arranged our first friendly for the 12th August so looking forward to that the Tuesday after opening Saturday.
