Re: 2008/2009 Fixtures?
good to see all the love for BSX1 as per usual!
Tis lonely at the top....
To correct young Mr Eakes could I bring his attention to that curious thing known as the facts. We opened our account last season with 3 wins, including if I recall a brilliant 4-3 win at Failand.
We then woefully underestimated a briefly rejuvenated Rock and were very unlucky against bogey side The Baps. (ask their then Gaffer)
Thereafter we remained unbeaten over 90 minutes for the rest of the season.
It's all their in black and white!
On which note we will be playing in green and black next season. (no chocolate gags please).
Ideal opening fixture is Nailsea (away) thereby obviating the need to travel bleedin miles to a small shed masquerading as a changing room!
i rest my case m'lud...

I think you'll find its healthy respect Jim. I guess it was October before that first loss. You boys are a bit like Man U though, if you are near the top at Christmas, you only get better and will be hard to beat.

Whenever I've played against Nailsea, they've had rally good changing rooms, never seen a shed! Unless pre 2004 they had a shed?

I fancy playing Santos, will be good to start the campaign with a win.
Best time to play Santos is the first game, as I won't be there to KO you boys.
Am gutted actually as will miss the first three games of the season

I Think Jim and myself remember the days back when we had to change in the shed in the freezing cold, from our div 2 days back in 1999 and 2000. the shed is still there mind!
