I can't accept that any of you think Stewart Downing is one of the worst capped England players ever.
That's ridiculous, it's just because he doesn't play for one of the big 4.

No Turps, he is poor. Irrelevant that he doesn't play for either Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal or Spurs.

I think you guys may have forgot but Matthew upson in the Sven days was a nightmare have to put him in ahead of Carragher!
Also have to throw in Stan Collymore and seth Johnson as well as Lee Hendrie

Eakes, I thought you were knowledgable about football - you have fallen in my estimations after that comment but do not fear, I still regard you as Premier League while Dan is definitely Non-league.
As I have said before, Capello rates Downing very highly and I expect Downing to play a big part in the England set up in the next couple of years.

Was going to put up the worst capped england players against the worst players to grace the premiership Re: previous topic and we can see who we think would win... thought it was quite clever really... atleast for Kirby with his degree in Business IT
