Got my only chance to se Baynton, Pearse and Peregrine in tandem tonight as they are not all around for our other friendlies. Expecting the BnP to be a bit rusty but Peregrine to step up after Saturday's game. Competition for places is good (but not at centre back )

I was just playing around with the league stats from last season's table (I was about to bite at Ben's comment on the Jokes thread about conceeding more with a longer cup run, so I went to dig up some stats ) and at Christmas, we were 2nd from bottom languishing on 4 points.
After Christmas, our record was:
W 8, D 3, L 1, GS 30, GA 13
We were unlucky to draw against Rock, struggled to get a team together for the draw with Christchurch but were lucky to beat Woodies.
