Far too many needless rash challenges from both sides, there's no place for it in our league but it was a good game to watch.

Can't believe the ref gave them a free kick for my slide-pass because there was intent. As if I'd want to hurt anyone (other than Dan or Turpin), plus their player was a good few yards away from the ball. Also thought it was a bit odd that I was the only one from either team to help their skipper after his ankle got knocked.

Turpin, the council has deliberated and agreed to continue your role from last season as water-boy.

Don't worry Kirbs, Sinclair's future father in law and I couldn't believe he'd given a free kick against you for that, it was the only challenge you timed well all day emoticon

There's good money in it Turps, Eakes has promised me a pint for every goal that Andy scores while I'm looking after his little girl emoticon

Yeah, but how is that going to help Turps? Nath has used up his goal allocation for the season now.

Nath, don't rearrange the Woodies game. I'm printing off Eakes' comments ready for February.

There...thanks for the confidence gaffer! We seem to get criticised a lot considering we had one of the tightest defences in the league last year* and have started this season in the same way.

Think I'm going on strike for a week in protest.

If you look at the stats I think we were joint second with about 35 conceded of which 11 came in the first two games.

I'm sure I saw it somewhere but I can't find it now so I take it back.

Nathan's first post on the first page of the results thread "we looked dodgy at the back" - don't take it back...
