Chaps, are there football posts up at Filwood yet. Finally got round to booking up my friendlies at Patchway and 1 of the dates they have no pitches available.

Anybody going to get back to Eakes or Crofty?! I'd like to help guys but cannot answer either question. I hope we've got enough to put a team out for the tournament.

Eakes - I am pretty sure that the groundsman said the pitches are available from the 1st of August. it is in an even less organised state than usual at the moment but if i can help with the booking get in touch. We have friendlies booked there for the 16th and 23rd.

Crofty - We have had to pull out of the tournament due to a lack of numbers. I emailed Mike and he had BS4 on standby so they have been slotted in instead. apologies mate

Sounds like Slip's season's wheels are falling off. First they get BS XI first up, now can't raise a side. Manager Redshaw has his work cut out. emoticon

Everyone wants to know about the comings and goings at Slip HQ.

Good to see Hilder back in the hotseat at our weekly press conference on the board - no-one can touch a Slip side with Redshaw and Hilder at the helm.

I was at the ground meeting the thursday before last and they did indeed say that friendlies could commence at the start of August.
