My dad went recently and was telling me how nice it was. Iv been to Edinburgh for a day trip and it's a pretty nice place. Castle is number 3 in Britain I think and offers marvelous views of the city.

D.and.D stayed in the Scotsman but I think it's pretty expensive bruv

Cheers Ash, I have checked out that hotel and it's £333 for 2 nights with discount, ouch! I'm having a look on lastminute.com now, we're seeing my friend and his g/f up there so I'll find out which ones are close to where he lives too.
